We have a dedicated team of volunteers who provide the simultaneous translation of our 11:15 AM worship service into Spanish. In order to hear this translation, you will be issued a wireless receiver and earphones at the Spanish translation table located in the Lobby. You will be asked to provide your name and telephone numbers and allow us to hold your driver’s license or car keys as security for the receiver issued to you. Please feel free to bring your own headphones or use the earphones supplied with the receiver which are cleaned between uses.
After picking up your wireless receiver and earphones, enter the Auditorium and find a seat in the reserved Spanish Translation Area, located in the rows immediately in front of our tech booth. Sitting in this area provides you a great line of sight to the stage and places you in an optimal location to hear the wireless transmission. Once the service starts, set the volume on your receiver to a level that is adequate to hear but not too loud that it would be a distraction to those seated near you.
Should you require assistance once the service has started, ask one of our bi-lingual volunteers sitting near the reserved seating area or return to the Lobby for assistance. Once the service has ended, turn in your receiver and earphones at the Spanish translation table and we will return your driver’s license or car keys.
If you have any questions about the translation of our services or would like to volunteer as part of our team, email our Translation Team Leader.
