Impact our community in a big way by inviting your neighbors, friends and co-workers to participate in a Neighborhood Food Drive to benefit Family Central an organization that supports families with small children. Identify 10 houses or apartments in your neighborhood and invite your neighbors to participate in the food drive. Neighborhood Food Drive Kits will be available for pick-up on Sunday, July 4 or July 11. The kit will include instructions, grocery bags, fliers and thank you notes. If your neighbor would like to participate they will leave their non-perishable items in the grocery bag outside of their front door. You will pick-up the food from their front porch on Saturday, July 17 and bring the grocery bags to the church on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning.
Volunteers are needed to help receive food donations on Saturday afternoon, July 17 or Sunday morning, July 18.
