In the coming weeks we are going to move to a new campus with a larger setting and we will begin a new season of ministry.  There will be some changes and lots of adjustments. There will be new people and new opportunities like never before.  The past two weeks, Pastor Scott Eynon has begun to prepare us for this new season of ministry through the final series in our current building, Gearing Up for a New Season.

On October 21, we kicked off the series by encouraging those who call Community Christian their home church to get off the sidelines and get into the game.  We shared some of our most pressing volunteer needs - Gearing Up Opportunities - which resulted in dozens of new volunteers signing up to get in the game.

In the message on October 28, Pastor Scott reminded us that, just like championship sports teams are strong on the fundamentals of their sport, we need to be focused on spiritual fundamentals if we are to attain the goal of becoming a fully devoted follower of Christ. Becoming a fully devoted Christ follower is a life long spiritual journey that is taken one step at a time. The message from Sunday, November 4 was a Community Christian "family meeting."  Scott used a Biblical passage from Deuteronomy chapter 8, where Moses gave final instructions to God's people before they entered the promised land, to give us some final instructions before we make our long-awaited relocation in the coming weeks. 

On Sunday, November 11, we talked about something that lies right at the heart of who we want to be as a church - to be Difference Makers!  We are here to change the world, one life at a time!
