The easiest way to begin connecting with the people of Community is through Bridge Environments.  These environments exist to help you connect to small groups or places of service.

dinnergroupDinner Groups are a great way to get to know others who attend Community.  Your Dinner Group of 6 - 7 adults will get together at least once a month for a casual meal at the home of one of the group members, at a restaurant, for a picnic, or wherever the group chooses.  The groups include couples and singles and every attempt will be made to match you up with others in the same stage of life. You will take turns hosting or initiating your time together. For information about Dinner Groups, email Connections Director Stephanie Bringas.

The next step for you could be checking out an Adult Bible Study, a place where you can grow deeper in your walk of faith, sharing each other's burdens and celebrate life's victories!  Belonging to a small group simply implies that you're a part of a group that wants to "do life" together.

firstserveFirst Serve is a serving opportunity within the church that requires little or no training and no commitment attached.  You simply indicate a ministry area that sounds interesting to you and we will help you get started. If the serving opportunity was a good fit for you, then you'll more than likely want to continue serving in that area of ministry and become more connected to the ministry team.  However, if it wasn't a good fit, then we'll look for another First Serve opportunity for you to engage in.

communityimpactnewAnother great Bridge Environment is serving as part of our Community Impact events which take place 4 times per year.  During Community Impact we send hundreds of volunteers into the surrounding community, partnering with benevolent organizations to meet the needs of the elderly, homeless, children and people with special needs.  What a wonderful way to meet others while serving those in need.

For more information about Bridge Environments, email Connections Director Stephanie Bringas or contact her at the church office at 954.724.7400, ext. 225.
